Its trails are intertwined stories, leading through lush forests and revealing stunning panoramas. Waterfalls, like jewels, dot the path, inviting contemplation. Biodiversity is a living tapestry of colors and sounds, with rare and endemic species.
Caiçara communities, rooted in traditions, inhabit its slopes. However, Serra da Bocaina faces challenges such as development and climate change. Preserving it requires collective awareness and responsible action.

ITINERARY
1st day 03/01/2024 Friday (J)
All participants will be welcomed at the Cabanas da Bocaina facilities, where our base will be. At 19:00 a delicious opening dinner and workshop briefing
2nd day 02/03/2024 Saturday (C, A, J)
On this first day, the show will take place atCabanas da Bocaina viewpoint, located approximately at an altitude of 1800 meters. At this viewpoint, we will take photos of the sunrise and golden hour, with the Serra da Bocaina as a backdrop. After this wonderful moment, We will continue for a delicious breakfast.
Next, Let's go a little deeper into Serra da Bocaina, now in the Park area, where we will photos of the beautiful landscapes along the way, having as its final stop the Mata Waterfall to test the concepts of long exposure a little. On our return we stopped atPilões Waterfall where in addition to beautiful landscapes, the opportunity for a moment of relaxation and a beautiful swim in the river.
We will continue to the inn where we will have a delicious lunch.
After a well-deserved rest, we headed to a new destination to photograph the sunset over Serra da Bocaina with the backdrop of theSerra da Mantiqueira. Ending this magical moment, we return for dinner and a great night's sleep in the cold of Bocaina.
Observation; Depending on the weather conditions and positioning of the moon, we will go out at night for astrophotography.
3rd day 03/03/2024 Sunday (C, A)
For those who like photography, waking up early at sunrise is no problem. New magical moment at the viewpointBocaina Cabins photographing the dawn. Afterwards, a delicious coffee and we continue to the beautiful waterfalls ofEgino Waterfall where we will have some more long exposure and composition practices. Return to the inn for a delicious lunch and end of the Workshop.

My name is Renato Machado
photographer and author of books Secret Landscapes of Southern Brazil and Canyons and Balloons, he has dedicated himself to photography for over 10 years.
During this time, he traveled through the Sahara Desert, Egypt, Norway, Easter Island, the Polynesian Archipelago, however It was in 2015, after a trip to Patagonia, that his passion became a serious matter in his life, and he specialized in landscape photography. Born in Florianópolis, Santa Catarina, Renato has participated in international competitions such as the Sony World Photography Award and Zeiss Photography Award 2016, in addition to having photos published in National Geographic and Fotografe Melhor.
