Come and have a great experience in Serra da Mantiqueira. Have you ever thought about spending three days in a premium camp at the top of the mountain photographing?
This is what this incredible experience will be like. Located in Sao Bento do Sapucaí, in São Paulo, Baú Base Camp will be our home for this workshop for three days. Just bring your photography equipment. The rest will be on us.
All tents are prepared and waiting for you with a sleeping bag, mattress and pillow, in addition to the incredible structure of Bau Base Camp with bathroom, gas-heated shower and a wonderful gourmet kitchen.

ITINERARY
1st day 06/28/2024 Friday (J)
All participants will be welcomed at the facilities of theBase Camp Chest , where everyone will be able to accommodate themselves in their tents. The adventure begins in the late afternoon, where we will have our first photographic outing and workshop briefing. This first event will occur at a nearby viewpoint. After sunset and golden hour, we will return to Base Camp for our welcome dinner. After dinner and a hot shower, everyone can experience the mountain camp with all the support structure. If Saint Peter collaborates, We will also have the opportunity to photograph the Milky Way in the darkness of Serra da Mantiqueira.
2nd day 06/29/2024 Saturday (C, A/L, J)
On the second day of activities, we will wake up before sunrise and follow a moderate trail to a new location to photograph the sunrise, having theChest Stone as an element in the composition.
Next, return to Base Camp for a delicious breakfast. Then free period to explore and photograph the Base Camp area. Return for lunch and a brief rest in the hammocks under the trees in the middle of the forest. Then moderate trail to the top of theAna Chata Stonewhere we will have the sunset.
Return to Base Camp for a delicious shower and dinner.
Observation; Depending on the weather conditions and positioning of the moon, we will go out at night for astrophotography.
3rd day 06/30/2024 Sunday (C)
Last day of the workshop. We'll wake up a little later for a delicious coffee and then head outside Base Camp to photograph the waterfall, practicing a little long exposure.
Return to Base Camp and end of the workshop.

My name is Renato Machado
photographer and author of books Secret Landscapes of Southern Brazil and Canyons and Balloons, he has dedicated himself to photography for over 10 years.
During this time, he traveled through the Sahara Desert, Egypt, Norway, Easter Island, the Polynesian Archipelago, however It was in 2015, after a trip to Patagonia, that his passion became a serious matter in his life, and he specialized in landscape photography. Born in Florianópolis, Santa Catarina, Renato has participated in international competitions such as the Sony World Photography Award and Zeiss Photography Award 2016, in addition to having photos published in National Geographic and Fotografe Melhor.
